CÓMO SE MIDE LA VIDA

No se mide según los planes que tienes para el fin de semana o por si te quedas en casa sólo. No se mide según con quién sales, con quién solías salir, ni por el número de personas con quienes has salido, ni por si no has salido nunca con nadie.
No se mide por la fama de tu familia, por el dinero que tienes, por la marca de coche que manejas, ni por el lugar donde estudias o trabajas.
No se mide ni por lo guapo ni por lo feo que eres, por la marca de ropa que llevas, ni por los zapatos, ni por el tipo que música que te gusta. La vida, simplemente, no es nada de eso...
La vida se mide según a quién amas y según a quién dañas.
Se mide según la felicidad o la tristeza que proporcionas a otros. Se mide por los compromisos que cumples y las confianzas que traicionas.
Se trata de la amistad, la cual puede usarse como algo sagrado o como un arma. Se trata de lo que se dice y lo que se hace y lo que se quiere decir o hacer, sea dañino o benéfico.
Se trata de los juicios que formulas, por qué los formulas y a quién o contra quién los comentas. Se trata de a quién no le haces caso o ignoras adrede. Se trata de los celos, del miedo, de la ignorancia y de la venganza.
Se trata del amor, el respeto o el odio que llevas dentro de ti, de cómo lo cultivas y de cómo lo riegas. Pero por la mayor parte, se trata de sí usas la vida para alimentar el corazón de otros.
Tú y solo tú escoges la manera en que vas a afectar a otros y esas decisiones son de lo que se trata la vida.
